Add a touch of seaside charm to your ensemble with my stunning mussel threaded earrings. Made from silver metal clay using a pair of mussel shells found on one of my beach walks. I made a mould from the mussel shells and then used the mould with the silver clay to form the shells you see here.
Once they have dried and been fired I have used liver of sulpher to give a slight patina and bring out some of the detail of the shell.
I have hung them from 8cm sterling silver threaders giving you the option of having them close to the ear lobe or longer and more dangly.
There is a matching necklace available also.
