You’ll learn how to design your piece, prepare silver metal clay, and securely set small stones directly into the clay using fire-in-place gemstones. With clear guidance throughout, you’ll shape, refine, sand, fire, and polish your work, transforming soft clay into solid silver right before your eyes. It’s a fascinating process and incredibly satisfying to wear something you’ve made yourself.

All tools and materials are provided, including 7g of silver metal clay and a selection of fire-in-place stones to choose from. You’ll also receive full access to the tools needed to help you achieve a professional finish, even if it’s your first time working with silver clay.

This workshop is perfect for beginners looking for a friendly introduction, as well as those with some experience who want to expand their skills and explore stone setting. You’ll leave with new techniques, a unique handmade piece of jewellery, and the confidence to keep creating.

2 methods of setting stones into the clay: bezel setting and flush setting

The price includes all the tools and equipment needed to make your pieces. It will include 7g of clay. 1 chain per person or 1 pair of earring wires are included also.

Extra clay will be available to purchase on the day as well as extra chains and earrings wires

This is suitable for beginners and those who have used silver metal clay before but want a refresher

I try my best to price my workshops fairly and offer good value for money. I therefore have a clear policy to ensure that I cover my costs and the ongoing viability of the workshop.

I do appreciate that sometimes unforeseen circumstances may mean that you can’t attend a workshop so I am happy for you to find a substitute to take your place, I will need their name and contact details prior to the workshop.

A minimum of 50% deposit is required to secure your place on the workshop.

Refund schedule

28 days or more before the course start date	Full refund will be given
15-27 days before the course start date	If you have paid a 50% deposit this will be forfeit. If you have paid in full a 50% refund will be given
14 days or less before the course start date	We regret that no refund can be given if a cancellation is made 14 calendar days or less before the course start date.

My jewellery making classes are in demand and places are limited. If you need to cancel please give as much notice as possible.

If you are booked on a course and you do not turn up on the day, no refund will be given.

Occasionally I may have to cancel a course. If this should occur I will give as much notice as possible. You will always be offered an alternative date or a refund if a workshop is cancelled by me, however, I cannot be held responsible for your travel or accommodation costs.
