Discover the magic of setting stones in silver metal clay in this hands-on jewellery workshop, designed to build your confidence and spark your creativity. Whether you’re completely new to silver clay or have tried it before, this session offers a supportive, step-by-step introduction to creating beautiful stone-set silver jewellery.
You’ll learn how to design your piece, prepare silver metal clay, and securely set small stones directly into the clay using fire-in-place gemstones. With clear guidance throughout, you’ll shape, refine, sand, fire, and polish your work, transforming soft clay into solid silver right before your eyes. It’s a fascinating process and incredibly satisfying to wear something you’ve made yourself.
All tools and materials are provided, including 7g of silver metal clay and a selection of fire-in-place stones to choose from. You’ll also receive full access to the tools needed to help you achieve a professional finish, even if it’s your first time working with silver clay.
This workshop is perfect for beginners looking for a friendly introduction, as well as those with some experience who want to expand their skills and explore stone setting. You’ll leave with new techniques, a unique handmade piece of jewellery, and the confidence to keep creating.
