One of the things I want for my jewellery is for it to be clean and simple and something that can be worn every day. 
My Miranda necklaces are exactly that; simple and clean and perfect for everyday wear. 
 
The stone is a Cubic Zirconia or CZ for short. CZ is a man made gemstone that often mimics diamonds but can come in other colours. The beauty of this stone is that it can be fired in place in my kiln making it perfect for adding that bit of sparkle to my pieces. This particular CZ resembles garnet. It is set into silver metal clay with a bail attached to the top also in silver metal clay. When fired the clay pulls in tight over the stone and holds it in place beautifully and boy doesn't it sparkle?
 
I have other colours in this range so please go take a look. This piece is hung on approx 17" sterling silver curb chain and the clasp is a sterling silver lobster clasp.
