The past few months life have looked quite a bit different for me and my husband. I wanted to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has checked in on me and showed us kindness, patience, understanding and support during this time.
We are learning to navigate a new normal and deal with the things that life has decided to throw at us. My husband has a few more months of treatment and then we hope for the fabled "all clear". We continue to take one day at a time and hold on to the positives.
On my side, I have recently been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and commenced on treatment for this. Hopefully once the treatment kicks in I will start to feel much more like myself and not spending my days working around when I can eat and if there are bathrooms nearby in case I need them.
All this stuff meant that I took a step back from jewellery making, markets and teaching. The plan - health permitting - is that I will restart markets in June and maybe restart teaching in September. Teaching is however, very much under review as the prices of silver clay have skyrocketed since I have been off. I am finding it difficult to keep my introduction sessions to under £100, which feels like the magic number for keeping workshops appealing and accessible. I have a few ideas and options that may work so definitely keep your eyes open for more updates.
In the meantime my shop is still open and I hope to have some new releases available for you in June. Watch this space for more sneak peeks and on my Instagram or Facebook @hareandmoonjewellery
Thank you again for sticking by me. I am so very grateful for all your continued support as I slowly come back.
