Tiny little pumpkins

Ok I know it's not autumn and forgive me for talking about something we think of more later in the year but I have to share this with you all.

I talked earlier in the year about taking some time for me this year and developing my silver clay skills more and consolidating what I learned in the silver metal clay diploma I did last year.

Well, last weekend I spent 3 days with Emma Roy at her fabulous Silver Clay Academy. The purpose of this visit was to spend 3 days in the company of the amazingly talented Anna Mazon from Drakonaria and Emma was the fab host. Anna makes the most exquisite jewellery from silver metal clay and does not use moulds etc - its all handformed. Sadly money and time constraints meant I could not do all 3 workshops on offer but I did do her pumpkin house workshop and learned so much.

Can you believe something like this at the end of day 1 looked like this 2 days later?

This is mine and I won't be making copies of this. This is Anna's design but it has given me so many ideas and confidence for future pieces so keep your eyes open.

If you don't follow me on Facebook or Instagram then please do go and find me and give me a follow @hareandmoonjewellery on both sites. Share this with friends and family as well - I love to see who is following me and chatting with people so leave comments on my posts and we can chat.

My 1-2-1 or 2-2-1 classes are going really well as well so check my website for information on my Introduction to Silver metal clay workshop I will be adding my seashore inspired workshop again soon so keep your eyes open for that. Finally I hope to be getting a larger home studio soon so I can teach slightly bigger classes so again keep your eyes open. If there are more than 2 of you who want to do a class with me now please email me sam.halliwell50@yahoo.com or message me here or on my socials and we can chat about venues and prices.

Now, enough chatting get out there and enjoy the sunshine this weekend and Happy Mother's day to all you mum's, stepmums, aunts, surrogate mums etc and remembering the mums who may not be with us ❤️❤️
